Description

Due to its compact dimensions, the HM216SPX crosscut saw from scheppach is the ideal model for use in hobby workshops that have to make do with little space. The die-cast aluminum frame not only makes the saw light and transportable, but also stable. It can be easily stowed away and placed on the workbench when needed.
At the same time, a powerful 2000 W motor ensures a maximum saw blade speed of 4800 revolutions per minute and makes it possible to process different materials. The HM216SPX is suitable for hard and soft wood as well as for all common plastics. The two carbide saw blades supplied, one with 24 teeth and one with 48 teeth, have a diameter of 210 mm.
The saw table can be extended on both sides in order to be able to position longer workpieces, eg skirting boards, exactly on the stop rail. To prevent it from slipping while sawing, the workpiece is fixed to the saw table from above with a screw clamp.
The turntable has a swivel range of -45° to +45° for various bevel cuts. Common angles (45-30-22.5-15-0) can be fixed quickly and easily using locking points. The saw blade can also be tilted up to 45° to the left to create miter cuts.
The integrated laser enables exact cutting results, where you don’t have to rely on your sense of proportion.

With the help of the pull function, the miter saw effortlessly saws workpieces up to 340 mm wide and 65 mm high. Thanks to the stable double-column  guide, the saw blade can be guided precisely through the workpiece. The wide handle and the saw blade protection ensure maximum safety for the user of the crosscut saw.
